Cards win! Cards win! Cards win!

God, it feels like years since I've said that. In a wild game from start to finish, the Cards scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th to down the hated Wildcats 10-9. Suck on that, Teague.

Hallelujah

Some manna-from-heaven-like news reported over at Card Game.

Failure is not an option

With the addition of Gorgui Dieng, now all Cards fans are waiting on is word that Samardo Samuels has come back from the brink, and we'll be looking at some very intriguing options in the post next season.

Samuels-Buckles in the starting 5? Backed up by TJ-Dieng?

Or could Dieng crack the starting 5 immediately, and allow Samuels to move to power forward, where he's been better suited all along?

If Samuels makes a huge mistake, would Rick start the shot blocking duo of Dieng-TJ?

And what about George Goode, who should be returning full strength and ready to compete for minutes? Will Stephan Van Treese make strides over the summer?

Every headline for the past season seemed to be eaten up by our fleet of guards and their up and down leadership. Starting with what's going on in Samardo's brain, that ball has been passed down low.

A 6'10'' addition

Gorgui Dieng makes it official.

Gorgui

Jody Demling provides us an update on the recruitment of Gorgui Dieng, who is apparently turns more heads everytime he steps on the court. Watching this clip below, the 6'10'' center runs the court like a deer and would be a great fit for Pitino. Since the Cards find themselves unexpectedly in the market for a center, I expect Pitino to turn up the heat.
