Yes, I know it's already week 5, but we're gonna take a look at this and see if it's worth delving into.

Here are my observations...
Alabama: Bama hasn't disappointed yet. They thoroughly dismantled a Gator team that is still very talented, and after playing South Carolina this coming weekend they will have played four of their first six games against Top 20 teams. After USC, the only other chance to see them lose could be to an Auburn team in the Iron Bowl Nov. 26th. Even my palpable hate for Saban can't keep me from admitting that they're damn good.
Ohio State: I don't think there's a team I hate on more than OSU. If anyone has lived with a Buckeye fan, you feel my pain. Their only test this year came against The U at home, and honestly, I don't know that I'm convinced on Miami quite yet. The Buckeyes two toughest tests come @ Wisconsin and @ Iowa. I'm hoping for them to have an off week the game before going to Iowa against Penn State. Look for the Fighting Joe Pa's in a spoiler. Then Joe Pa wipes his drool with Tressel's sweater vest and sends him to the corner.
Oregon: Made the controversial jump over Boise St. this week. The Pac-10 is always a mystery to me. Since most of their games are later on the slate, not too many sober eyes fall on their games. The Ducks passed their first and possibly biggest test against Stanford. Playing them at home, as well as hosting #9 Arizona, means that the Ducks schedule is shaping up nicely for them. They could still possibly drop one or two games possibly at the hands of the USC Fighting Layla Kiffins or Washington and Jake Locker (has this guy done anything yet??).
Boise State: I'm going to make this known up front: I'm a Broncos hater. I constantly bash them, then they make me look like a fool. They have a couple things going for them: a great coach and a really good system (and annoying blue turf that HAS GOT to be an advantage when they wear the all blues, don't tell me it isn't!). They passed their season opening test against a not-as-good-as-we-thought Va Tech team. My only hope to keep from them kicking me in the ass again comes against an explosive Nevada team on the road 11/26. C'mon Wolfpack!!!
TCU: Another possible undefeated team at the end of the year left on the outside looking in. I haven't seen much of them yet this year but was very surprised to see them 10th in the FBS in offense (pts) and 5th in defense (pts). Pretty good numbers, but when you look at the schedule, it kinda makes sense. The Horned Frogs quality win so far was a 30-21 W over Oregon St. I am thinking that they might have a let up game against BYU a week before playing #25 Air Force. We all know how sneaky those Mormons are....actually.... just looked it up and BYU (1-4) is terrible this year. Never mind. TCU gets a BCS Bowl!!
#s 6-25
#6 Oklahoma- Kind of caught off guard by them. It looks like the rest of their schedule shapes up pretty nice for the remainder of the year.
#8 Auburn- Apparently this QB can play...
#11 Arkansas- Petrino can still coach...
#12 LSU- Is there such a thing as a two loss 5-0 team??
#13 Miami- The U is either climbing higher into the top 10 or could possibly fall outside 25, I just don't trust them quite yet.
#16 Stanford- Jim Harbaugh will have his troops ready for Layla Kiffin's husband this week...
#17 Michigan St- OK, we get it, he beat Norte Dame and God tried to kill him, let's move on.
#20 Wisconsin- Took the biggest drop after losing to a guy that God tried to kill. On another note, it's still Big Ten football.... yawn...
#21 Nevada- My sleeper team to get no serious looks until they are undefeated in late November.
#23 Florida St.- The class of the ACC might be in the #23 spot . So I guess the ACC is down this year. We will find out how that league will stack up this Saturday when they play the U.
Games to watch this week:
3:30- #1 Alabama vs. #19 South Carolina- The A-Hole Bowl- A battle to be the most hated coach in football.
3:30- #17 Michigan St @ # 18 Michigan- The battle for Detroit.... loser gets Detroit.
7:30- #12 LSU @ #14 Florida- Can the Bayou Bengals tackle the Gator's felons playmakers?
8:00- #23 Florida St @ # 13 Miami- This game is a must watch, more for the coeds in the crowd.
8:00- USC @ #16 Stanford- These guys hate each other almost as much as everyone else hates Lane Kiffin!
Faces (names) in the Crowd:
Jeff Jamrog, Nebraska -There's something about the name Jamrog that makes you want to investigate a little further...
Dakota Getz, Iowa- Dakota Getz what Dakota wantz.... especially if you go against him in a staring contest. Also played that little naked guy in those Lord of the Rings movies.
Nice work but why do you have to hate on the Broncos? Bama v. Boise 2011.
