Pitino: "We're a young basketball team..."
For a team that starts 3 seniors and who's sixth man is a junior. Almost as head-scratching as throwing Mike Marra to the wolves in the first half after ossifying on the bench for 5 games.

Agreed... I have no problem with Pitino crafting an explanatory narrative as he always does, but it needs to be grounded somewhere in fact. When it's not, it suggests either panic, lack of candor, or we simply don't know what's going on. This comment raises eyebrows.
No team that starts 3 seniors can really be called young this is another one of Rick lies or mind games if you will.
